SAP License and pricing the Seedling Assessment Program covering the 2006 Silviculture Season.
The silviculture season will be
defined as ending
1. The
Seedling Assessment Program (SAP) license is primarily a service license and
give the owner technical support for the calendar year specified in the
license. The license includes the software required to run the SAP program.
2. The
license is distributed as a Site License and the owner can install the license
on as many computers
and PDA with the location the license is given on.
3. The
SAP program is covered by the general copyright laws and I Derek Belsham and
West Creek Silviculture
retain all intellectual
properties for the sap program.
As such the license does not allow the user to distribute or sell the program
in any form with out my express permission.
4. The
license grants the user permission to use the “data” database as they see fit.
This includes sending it to the their clients and
creating their own queries. I will not be responsible for fixing damage to the
data base it affect the SAP program
5. The
use of the SAP program is limited to the direct use of the owner of the
license. The owner is not allowed to permit a third party to borrow or use the
SAP program to complete work that is not used by the original owner.
6. The
holder of the licensee is allowed to put the PDA program on other PDA as long
as the new users are working on the owner projects and they come to the owner
office for down loading the data.

The SAP survey program
·
The SAP planting module
·
The PDA sync program
·
The

The Genus Export module GenusL module
·
The Phoenix ESL export module.
·
SIBEC site index look up table.
·
One season technical support ending
·
Access to the West Creek website support page
for the season.
·
FTP service will be supplied by request.
·
Any updates released issued through out the season.
The technical support is limited to
direct support of the Seedling Assessment Program including bug fixes and
general instructions on using the program. Some services which go beyond
general use may require further cost.
1. If
the client sends me their data and I run and process the Genus/Phoenix data
export function.
2. Setting
up and implanting new data transfer protocols not related to Genus or
3. Special
reports or calculations not included in the sap license.
4. Training
or technical support
beyond topics directly related to the normal use of the SAP
program.
